About the Album

Jezebel is an album about the passion and humanity so many of us have lost, or have been hypnotized to forget. The inner flame we dim because the world is loud and scary and there are a thousand reasons to play it safe.

This record is about not playing it safe.

She tells us a story about grief and devotion living in the same breath. She sings about tending your fire even when no one is watching.
Especially then.

We named this album Jezebel after the title track.

Her archetype, like so many “dark feminine” characters, has been used for centuries to punish women who refused to shrink. Women punished for having loud feelings, for expressing rage and inconvenient grief, for loving with reckless abandon. We’re reclaiming it. Holding this prism up to the light and watching it transform us into something new. Something beautiful. Something we create together.

I hope to inspire my human family and especially my sisters to embrace their fire, their depth, their devotion, their ability to SEE. To channel the blood mystery that runs through their veins and cycles through their wombs into a life worth descending from.

May we embrace our precious humanity and lift each other up.

“Jezebel is an epic ride through a vast emotional range — like a base jumper in a wingsuit, one minute diving into a rocky canyon, the next gliding over rivers and forest with the wind in your face, and the next sinking deep underwater with the bioluminescent vampire squid.”
